Pries provides a variety of options to support our customers to save time and expenses by delivering finished products ready for their end use including:
As part of our fabrication services, Pries Enterprises has the technology and equipment for Cut-to-Length of extrusions. Our high-capacity saws are perfect for large production runs, yet allow us to maintain the ability to process smaller volume orders, all in short lead times. Our saws are capable of some of the shortest cut lengths and tightest tolerances required for the markets we serve. We have several cut-to-length operations located in various areas to support our packaging and shipping operations that enhance our Lean Manufacturing process.
In any case, we are able to offer our customers the ability to order a finished part ready for application in their process. Our precision measuring equipment and process capabilities guarantee that your length requirements are met on every part.

Our mitering equipment allows us to precisely cut a variety of angles to fit tightly with mating parts for applications which must be aesthetically pleasing, such as door and window extrusions. It also allows us the ability to cut angles on larger trailer extrusions which may otherwise be difficult to maneuver.
In any case, we are able to offer our customers the ability to order a finished part ready for application in their process. Our precision equipment and process capabilities guarantees that your requirements are met on every part.

As part of our aluminum fabrication process Pries Enterprises utilizes a number of manual drilling, tapping and counter-sinking methods, in addition to those performed by custom CNC machining, to ensure that no matter what your requirements and volumes are, we can engineer the right solution to meet your needs in a cost effective and timely manner.
If you need large production runs or small volume prototyping we will provide a solution to meet your budget and delivery expectations as well as the quality that our customers have come to expect from us.
We are more than happy to review your drawings and offer you a cost proposal for your finished part.
A significant part of our customers' fabrication requirements across a variety of custom aluminum extrusions is repetitive hole patterns. Machining of such patterns can be cost prohibitive due to extensive cycle time. Pries Enterprises' fabrication department utilizes an assortment of punch presses of various tonnages to produce such patterns when possible in order to cut cycle time to a mere fraction of the cost per piece.
We have also utilized punch sets that remove the need for other operations by integrating them into a single process at the punch press — just another example of Pries' commitment to cutting waste and developing cost-effective engineered solutions.
Once you submit your request to Pries Enterprises our knowledgeable team will review your specifications and consider the most cost-effective process to gain your business.
Pries Enterprises recognizes aluminum finishing requirements for extrusions that are clean, safe and burr-free. Many parts that are cut to length and/or machined are required to be free of burrs and sharp edges — not only for aesthetics, but also for safety.
Therefore, we employ a variety of aluminum deburring methods including hand deburring, mechanical brushing of cut ends and vibratory deburring the entire finish in order to provide a safe, burr-free functional part that meets customer requirements.
For machined parts, we can also integrate the removal of sharp edges into the machining itself. This is a common practice that saves time and additional processing.
We are ready to review your requirements and propose a solution that encompasses all your needs from extrusion to the finished product. Please feel free to contact us or request a quote today.
Pries has advanced our fabrication services to add an Eaton Leonard VB300 CNC bending machine and a Comac Model 304 CNC Roll Bender. We can currently bend tubes/extrusions up to a 3” diameter and up to a 12” Centerline Radius. CNC capabilities with bends up to 180 degrees.
